Born in Chicago, raised in Southern California, graduated from the University of California at Irvine and moved to Hilo, Hawaii in 1985. Raised a son as a single parent while employed for 28 years at the Hawaii Tribune-Herald newspaper. When the newspaper was sold towards the end of 2014 and downsized by over half, I became a licensed insurance agent in the State of Hawaii. I am focused on providing guidance and assistance towards a Medicare health plan that fits the needs of our retiring community members.
